چکیده

We present results on the bottomonium spectrum at temperatures above and below the deconfinement crossover temperature, Tc, from dynamical lattice QCD simulations. The heavy quark is treated with a non-relativistic effective field theory on the lattice and serves as a probe of the hot medium. Ensembles with a finer spatial lattice spacing and a greater range of temperatures below Tc than those previously employed by this collaboration are used. In addition, there are Nf = 2 + 1 flavours of Wilson clover quark in the sea with Mπ ≈ 400 MeV and we perform a more careful tuning of the bottom quark mass in this work. We calculate the spectral functions of S and P wave bottomonium states using the maximum entropy method and confirm earlier findings on the survival of the ground state S wave states up to at least 2Tc and the immediate dissociation of the P wave states above Tc.

Relativistic bottomonium spectrum from anisotropic lattices

We report on our results from a fully relativistic simulation of the quenched bottomonium spectrum. Using an anisotropic formulation of Lattice QCD, we were able to retain a very fine resolution into the temporal direction for a range of different lattice spacings. At fixed renormalized anisotropy we study the scaling properties of the spectrum and compare our results with non-relativistic calc...

Lattice QCD results at finite T and μ

We propose a method to study lattice QCD at finite temperature (T) and chemical potential (µ). We test the method and compare it with the Glasgow method using n f =4 staggered QCD with imaginary µ. The critical endpoint (E) of QCD on the Re(µ)-T plane is located. We use n f =2+1 dynam-ical staggered quarks with semi-realistic masses on L t =4 lattices. Our results are based on O(10 3 − 10 4) co...

Finite temperature transitions in lattice QCD with Wilson quarks: Chiral transitions and the influence of the strange quark.

The nature of finite temperature transitions in lattice QCD with Wilson quarks is studied near the chiral limit for the cases of 2, 3, and 6 flavors of degenerate quarks (N F = 2, 3, and 6) and also for the case of massless up and down quarks and a light strange quark (N F = 2+1). Our simulations mainly performed on lattices with the temporal direction extension N t = 4 indicate that the finite...

The 10B(7Be, 8B)9Be Reaction and the Astrophysical S17(0) Factor

Bound states of heavy quarks (charmonium and bottomonium) provide a rich laboratory for spectroscopy in QCD [1]. Potential models have been widely and successfully applied to charmonium and bottomonium spectra in vacuum, and the validity of the approach has received further support from lattice QCD (lQCD). It is therefore promising to extend the potential approach to finite temperatures, T. Med...

Bottomonium above deconfinement in lattice nonrelativistic QCD.

We study the temperature dependence of bottomonium for temperatures in the range 0.4T(c) < T < 2.1T(c), using nonrelativistic dynamics for the bottom quark and full relativistic lattice QCD simulations for Nf = 2 light flavors on a highly anisotropic lattice. We find that the Υ is insensitive to the temperature in this range, while the χb propagators show a crossover from the exponential decay ...
